I’m going to show you how I turned a free niche Ebook into a profitable income stream. The Ebook is about digital photography, and I created it by re-writing a set of private label rights articles about photography that came with the 15000 Article Monster PLR Package:

Let me first show you the squeeze -or landing- page where I give my Ebook away in return for my visitors name and email address:

It’s very important to show your visitors an attractive, professional looking, squeeze page when they visit your site. You want to make your Ebook/Special Report look valuable. A poorly designed page makes your offer look cheap, even if it contains great information. Yes, people DO judge you by your cover.

To be honest, it didn’t take me much time to create the page, because I used one of the ready made squeeze page templates from the Turbo Graphics Package. http://www.instantinfoprofit.com/turbographics I just had to enter my own text, change some colors, paste in my Ebook cover graphic, et voila… done.

Now, here’s what happens when people request a  copy of my Ebook…

1) After subscribing, they are automatically re-directed to a special page, where they see a one-time-offer that is hard to refuse. The offer contains a list of useful, low priced, graphic manuals and instructional PhotoShop videos, most with resell rights included, and all related to the photography subject. Since the products will help them to develop their graphical skills and make better photos, so you can bet there will be sales rolling in.

But what if people decide not to buy the one-time-offer?

No problemo… on to the next step…

2) I have included a few affiliate links inside my Ebook, mostly pointing to related Clickbank products that I promote, so I can get a commission when people buy a product from my links.

Note; if you do this, you need to make sure that you keep it down. It’s very tempting to fill your Ebook with affiliate links, but I highly recommend you to not do this. People are not stupid.

It is very annoying to see money-making links all over the place, and it makes you look like someone who’s only after the quick buck. Remember, it only takes a single mouse click to delete an Ebook, and you may be labeled as a “shark”.

I see Ebook marketers making this mistake all the time, and very often these same people say that Ebooks are dead. No surprise to hear that from them…

If you are going to “weave in” an affiliate link between your copy, make sure that people get something useful from it. Always check out the offer first, and write your own review about it. Tell people how the product your promote will help them to improve their business/hobby/life. You need to explain what’s in it for them. Otherwise, just don’t do it.

Now, what if people don’t buy my one-time-offer? What if they don’t click my affiliate links? Do I panic?

Of course not. I’m just beginning… here comes another effective profit system.

3) I follow up on my subscribers every 4-6 days with a useful photography tip, and I always weave in an affiliate link for a related product -mostly for an Ebook or set of videos- that subscribers may find interesting) and that pays me a commission.

It’s not enough to just “build” a list. Your list is a powerful marketing tool, so USE it. Keep in touch with your subscribers on a regular base. Make them familiar with you. Offer them good advice. Tell them that they can send you an email to ask for help if they have a question or need something. Build trust. Tell them about your daily life. Make them feel comfortable. Don’t be a guru, but a real person with feelings. Be there for your list members. Your list is the most valuable asset in your business.

Many marketers often forget that there are real people sitting on the other side of their PC. Nobody likes to be bombarded with promotional messages every other day, so don’t use your subscribers as a means to make money quick. They will not take it. Leaving your list takes only a simple mouse click.

Instead, share your expertise. But find the right balance. It’s okay to send out free tips and special reports now and then, but don’t give it all away for free. When people feel that you are an honest person, they will buy your products and affiliate offers, and you will slowly see the money flow in. If you don’t use these tips to handle your list, you can just forget about making an income online.

Good. Now that we have this sorted out, and people are looking at you as someone who cares about them, it’s time to take it to the next step.

So, what else can you do? You have a list. New messages are automatically sent out to your subscribers via your autoresponder. Sales are coming in on a regular base from your one-time-offer, from people clicking your affiliate links inside the Ebook and from your email messages.

You think that’s the end?

Well, think again…

4) I offer exclusive Private Label Rights to my Ebook:

In other words, I allow other people to modify or re-write my Ebook, and sell it or give it away as they wrote it. This option is not for everyone, but those who are interested in niche marketing will be glad to get these rights, as it’s an easy way to put a new product on the market. They can use the modified content to build a new list, or add it as a bonus gift to an existing product.

You can sell Private Label Rights to your Ebook for a lot of money. Warning; always read the original PLR license first, before you distribute your modified content to others. Some PLR licenses don’t allow you to sell the PLR content that you used to create your own product.

Well, you should get the picture by now, it’s really all very simple…

And these are only 4 ways to monetize your Ebook.

… giving the report away from your site…

… join a GiveAway event, and offer your free report there. You will build a list of hundreds of new subscribers in a very short time.

You will be able to create a signature file, that will be exposed when you post in the forum. This signature file should invite all the people who read your posts to get your free report. Do a simple search for “your subject + forum” via Google  to find related forums.

… write some articles, post them to www.Ezinearticles.com  and include your resource box beneath it, where you tell people that they can find more information in your free report that is waiting on your website or blog.

That’s really all it takes.

Then, when you see results (traffic and sales coming in), repeat the process with other niches.

The possibilities with Info-Reports are endless.

Just stop what you’re doing right now, and start doing what I showed you NOW.
