The popularity of Ebooks has EXPLODED over the past few years.  Millions of people are now reading Ebooks on their Kindle, iPad, Nook or other e-reading device. Not only are Ebooks convenient to purchase, but they are also cheap and handy to take with you when you travel or commute to work. 

Now, if you are interested in selling Ebooks to make a profit, you do not necessarily have to write your own Ebook.  Instead you can obtain private label resell rights to an existing Ebook, and then modify it to your own style.  Obtaining the private label rights (also referred to as PLR) to an Ebook give you the right to publish the work as your own, edit the contents, and cash in all the money from each sale of the book.

The biggest downside to obtaining PLR to an Ebook is the amount of money that you will have to spend.  Depending on who you do business with, the cost of acquiring private label resell rights may be fairly expensive. The PLR cost to an Ebook may be considered a disadvantage to this unique business opportunity, but it can also be considered an advantage.  Ebook authors that charge more for their work typically have produced better content; and better content is easier to sell.
