- How do you promote your Kindle book?

- All of my promotion is online through Twitter, blogging, and review sites. Although I spend time on forums, it’s more to connect with other authors than to promote my work.

- What would you say to new Kindle authors, who have just published their first book on Amazon, to help them increase their book sales?

- Use your whole name for marketing (Twitter, your website, blog, etc), as uncomfortable as it may be. If a reader is trying to find you, don’t make it difficult. Keep writing and keep publishing. Despite all efforts to advertise, some books have an easier time finding an audience.

- Which web sites, services or tools do you use to promote your Kindle book?

- I’ve submitted to the following sites in some form or other…

http://www.goodreads.com

http://www.read2review.com

http://www.vampireromancebooks.com

http://indiesnippets.blogspot.com

https://sites.google.com/site/1500authors/author-submit

- Do you know about any other promotion techniques that worked well for you?

- I’ve done a free short short on Smashwords. While it’s too soon to tell if this will drive sales, I think it helps get my name out there. Too much effort goes into writing to use anything larger as a marketing tool. Be concise on the blurb and have a great cover.
